Canadian composer and arranger, Alexandre Gendron has a bachelor’s degree in Music Writing and Digital Music from University of Montreal and a College Diploma in Jazz Signing from Cégep Saint-Laurent. Alongside his studies, Alexandre has established his own recording studio in the Laurentian area of Quebec. He has worked with American director, Johnny Cortes for the film Escape for which he both composed and recorded the music. For the 375th anniversary festivities of the city of Montreal, Alexandre wrote the music and did the sound design of the show Juste à temps.
Currently, he is specialising in orchestral music and aims to compose music for video games, films and shows. As student of InMICS, Alexandre is currently at the Université de Montréal’s Faculty of Music (Canada). He will study at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (France) for the second year of the programme.
